Dr. Quan Zou is a Professor of Computer Science at Tianjin University. He completed his PH.D. from the Harbin Institute of Technology, P.R. China in 2009. From 2009 to 2015, he served both as assistant and associate professor in the Xiamen University, P.R. China. His research work has been focused in the areas of bioinformatics, machine learning and parallel computing. Several of his papers have been published by Science, Briefings in Bioinformatics, Bioinformatics, etc. According to Google scholar more than 100 of his papers have been cited more than 2000 times.

Dr. Palok Aich is currently an associate professor of Biology. He got his masters in Physical Chemistry and PhD in Biophysics. Dr. Jun (Luke) Huan is the Chief Scientist and Chief Executive Officer of Styling. AI, a start-up providing Al services to the fashion industry. Before that, he served as a Distinguished Scientist and the Head of Big Data Lab at Baidu Inc. Dr Huan works on Data Science, AI, Deep Learning, and Data Mining. His research is recognized internationally. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers in leading conferences and journals and has supervised ten PhD students. He was a recipient of the US National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award in 2009. His group won several best paper awards from leading international conferences. Dr. Ali Masoudi-Nejad received his Ph.D. in genetics/genomics with Prof. Takashi Endo from Kyoto University Japan. Dr. Wei Chen is a full Professor of North China University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. from Inner Mongolia University, P.R. China in 2010. His researches are focused on computational and comparative genomics and proteomics. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in SCI-indexed journals. His publications have been cited over 6,000 times with the H-index of 40 as indicated in Google Scholar

Dr. Pu-Feng Du is an associate professor of College of Intelligence and Computing, Tianjin University. He received his Ph. D. from Bioinformatics Division of Tsinghua National Laboratory of Information Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. He began to work as an assistant professor in Tianjin University since 2010. He was promoted to associate professor in 2014. In 2013, he worked as a visiting postdoc fellow in the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong, under the Hong Kong Scholar Programs. Tao Huang is the Director of Bioinformatics Core Facility at Institute of Health Sciences, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Genetics and Genomics Sciences, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. His research interests include bioinformatics, computational biology, systems genetics and big data research. Chaeyoung Lee is a professor in the Department of Bioinformatics and Life Science at Soongsil University in South Korea. He received the Ph.D. degree from Cornell University in 1995. Prof. Dr. Hong-Bin Shen is presently serving as a Professor at the institute e of Image Processing & Pattern Recognition, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai. Kelvin Kian Loong Wong obtained a B.Eng (Hons, 2001) in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, a MAIT (2003) in Applied Information Technology from The University of Sydney, followed by a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2009) from The University of Adelaide. Dr Kelvin Wong has more than 10 years’ experience of medical imaging, computational hemodynamics and simulation modelling experience. Dr Zhao received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2005. He was a postdoc fellow at the University of Tokyo during 2006-2008, and joined the Institute of Systems Biology at Shanghai University in 2008 as an Associate Professor. Currently, he is a professor at the Department of Computer Science, Tongji University. His research focuses on inference and analysis of molecular interaction networks, identification of disease genes, prediction of drug-protein interactions and drug combinations. Dr. Zheng obtained his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UT Southwestern and MS in Computer Science from UT Dallas. Dr. Zheng is an associate professor and the director of Bioinformatics and High Performance Computing Service Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth) School of Biomedical Informatics at Houston. Dr. Guohua Huang is currently a Full Professor at Provincial Key Laboratory of Informational Service for Rural Area of Southwestern Hunan, Shaoyang University. Before joining the Central University of Punjab, he served at SASTRA University as an Associate Professor. His research areas are Structural Biology, Macromolecular Crystallography, Protein Biophysics, Structural Bioinformatics, Structural & Functional genomics, and Sequence data analysis. He has published several research articles in reputed journals and serves as a reviewer of many scientific journals and is a life member of the Indian Biophysical Society and Indian Crystallographic Association.

Dr. Chen received Ph.D. degree in System Analysis and Integration from East China Normal University, Shanghai. Currently, he is an associate professor in College of Information Engineering, Shanghai Maritime University. Dr. Chen is in charge of the academic degree of Software & Theory of Computer. His interests include bioinformatics, computational biology, machine learning, graph theory, and algorithm design. He has published more than 90 scientific publications.

Prof. Lei Deng is presently serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Software Central South University Central South University, Changsha, China. He completed his PhD in Computer Science, Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. His research interests are in Bioinformatics and Data Mining and Machine Learning. He is also a recipient of multiple grants and awards such as Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province Grant, Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has contributed his publication in different scientific journals.

Dr. Jialiang Yang is presently serving as a vice president at Geneis (Beijing) Co. Ltd., China. He received his PhD from National University of Singapore, Singapore. His research interests include Cancer early diagnosis, liquid biopsy, gene testing, and gene therapy, Methods development in Bioinformatics, Phylogenetics, machine learning, and biostatistics and Single cell RNA sequencing analysis for cellular senescence and cancer. He has contributed his valuable publications in different scientific journals.

Dr. Yongqing Zhang is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science, Chengdu University of Information and Technology, Chengdu, China. He has been awarded a degree of PhD in Computer Science from Sichuan University, China in 2016. He was a visiting PhD student at the University of California San Diego, USA. His research is in the areas of machine learning and bioinformatics and his several related works have been published by NAR, EAAI, CHEMOMETER LAB, etc.
